Linda Mae Trembath, age 54, of Fort Seneca, Ohio, died November 8, 2002. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio, on March 7, 1948, to Charles and Verna Mae (Hade) Huber. Her mother survives in Fort Seneca. On June 30, 1967, in Fort Seneca, she married David Trembath, and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Brett (Sara) Trembath of Fremont, Ohio, and Brandon Trembath at home; a granddaughter, Austin Linda Trembath; two brothers, Greg (Pat) Huber of Old Fort, and Harry Huber of Fort Seneca; two close friends, Shelly Mellott of Old Fort and Judy Bowling of Fort Seneca; and a godson, Mathew Russell Mellott. Mrs. Trembath was a 1966 Old Fort High School graduate, a homemaker, and a member of Fort Seneca United Church of Christ, where she organized the 140th year celebration. She was a member of the Old Fort Flames Fire Dept. Auxiliary, where she held all offices, including President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer. Her hobbies included working with silk flowers, collecting seashells, lighthouses, and miniature dolphin figurines.
Burial will be in Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort. Memorials may be made to the Old Fort Flames, to the church, or to Fremont Memorial Hospital Hospice.
