Zita Theresa Huss, 89, of Tiffin, died at 11:30 pm Friday, December 30, 2016, at The Anderson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cincinnati. She was born December 24, 1927, in Bellevue, to Frederick and Ottilia (Gerber) Missler. She married Francis Vincent Huss August 10, 1957, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1991.
Survivors include two sons, David F. (Cheryl) Huss of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kevin F. Huss of Cincinnati; a daughter, Ann M. (Michael) Fuller of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Marcus (Kelley) Huss of Denver, Colorado, Erik (Michaela) Huss of Avon Lake, Brett (Jennifer) Huss of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bryan (Natalie) Huss of Tiffin, Brentton (Abigail) Fuller of Portsmouth, Virginia and Jamin Fuller of Dallas, Texas; a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Huss; a brother, Herman Missler of Bellevue; and two sisters, Marcella Scherer of Sandusky, and Rosella Heydinger of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Henrietta Frish, Irene Oeder, Rita Felker, Lucille Schneider and Joanna Missler; and a brother, Elmer Missler.
Zita was a Bellevue High School graduate, a homemaker, and had worked at General Electric in Bellevue, a life member of the former Pillar of Faith Church and the Women of Faith.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
