William J. Wolf, 93, formerly of 30 Goodsell Street, Tiffin, died at 12:15 p.m., on April 8, 2003, at Elmwood at the Shawhan. He was born on July 15, 1909 to William V. and Evelyn (Kerschner) Wolf. In 1932, he married Catherine E. Gleason in Fremont. She died in 1980.
He is survived by one son, William C. Wolf, of Washington, DC; one daughter, Beverly Simons, of Tiffin; 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth (Russell) Kistler, of Tiffin.
He was preceded by one grandson, Robert Wolf; one brother, Albert Wolf; and one sister, Edith Wappner.
Mr. Wolf was a 1927 Columbian High School graduate and worked as a Foreman at Tiffin Glass from 1927 until he retired in 1974. He was a member of the Tiffin Glass Association, Senior Citizen’s Club, and was an avid golfer.
