William 'Bill' B. Schock, age 80, of Tecumseh Trail, Tiffin died at 11:20 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Arbors at Clyde.
He was born on April 27, 1929 in Tiffin to the late William James and Emma Mary (Johnson) Schock. On July 19, 1969 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, he married Dolores Bullinger and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth (Andy) Reardon of Clyde; three grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob and Christopher Reardon; a brother, Anthony Schock of Attica; and a sister, Rita Ranieri of Tiffin.
He is preceded in death by five sisters, Joan Obringer, Veronica Schock, Lena Daniel, Evelyn Schultz, and Sr. Camillus Schock; three brothers, Clarence, Daniel, and Benjamin Schock.
Bill had been a pattern maker at Tiffin Manufacturing, and then he retired from National Machinery Company in 1991. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin and the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation with the family will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be 1:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 10:30 am Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 11 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Szybka and the Rev. Ron Schock officiating. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow immediately in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Community Hospice Care in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
