W. Glenn Gregory, age 85, formerly of Webster Street, Tiffin, died at 11:55 pm Sunday, October, 7, 2007 in Mercy Hospital.
He was born on January 26, 1922 to the late Roy and Jessie (Wink) Gregory. On January 29, 1944 in Tiffin, he married Eileen E. Haley, and she survives.
Other survivors include, three daughters, Glenna Plank; Cathy (Alvin) Thomas; and Jane (Thomas) Kesler all of Tiffin; three grandchildren, James Kear, Heather Grover, Allen Thomas; 5 great grandchildren, Nicholas Grover, Nathan Grover, Paige Kear, Parker Kear, and Noelle Thomas; one brother, Judd Gregory of Tiffin; and two sisters, Edna Weigel of Marion, Ohio and Maxine Cochran of Tiffin.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Gregory.
Mr. Gregory retired in 1987 from Tiffin Enterprise as a carpenter. Prior to that, he had worked at Adams Street Lumber Company, Tiffin. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose.
The Funeral will be 10 am Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113 where Rev. Greg Sellers and Rev. Mickey McManus will officiate. Burial will take place immediately following in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Family and friends may call from 4-6 pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care in care of the funeral home.
