Wayne C. Breidenbach, 77, of 78 Allen Street, Tiffin, died at 4:00 a.m., Sunday, November 23, 2003, at his home. He was born in Tiffin on November 6, 1926 to Carl and Regina (Reinhart) Breidenbach. On July 21, 1973, he married Paula Smith at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Daniel Breidenbach of Newport News, Virginia, and Roger Breidenbach at home in Tiffin; one daughter, Judy (Shawn) Mesnard of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Mesnard, both of Tiffin; one sister, Ruth Ann Maloy of Tiffin and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, one son, David Breidenbach, and two brothers, Eldon and Lester Breidenbach.
Mr. Breidenbach retired as a Trackman Supervisor for B/O Railroad. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had graduated from Calvert High School in 1945. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
