Walter H. Brown, 85, of Tiffin, died at 5:36 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Walter was born August 8, 1931, in Groveport, Ohio to Walter H. Brown, Sr. and Charlotte (Stout) Brown-Wilt. He married Rita J. Monroe June 17, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio and she survives in Tiffin.
her survivors include two sons, David E. Brown of Tiffin, Frederick T. Brown of Weldon-New Brunswick, Canada; three daughters Barbara A. Ferrentino of Ocala, Florida, Rita P. Sullivan, Holiday, Florida, Rebecca R. Wyatt, of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles R. Brown of Columbus, Ohio; and a brother-in-law, Raymond A. Spiert of Westerville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Walter H. Brown, Jr. and Charles R. Brown; a daughter, Mary M. Brown; and a sister, Frances Taylor.
Walter served in the Army from 1954 to 1958. He retired as property manager from Kapok Tree Corp, in Clearwater, Florida.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Burial will take place in Sylvan Abby Cemetery, Clearwater, Florida.
