Waddell Moore, 68, of Tiffin, died at 4:53 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital. He was born January 9, 1950, in Ridgeway, South Carolina, to Ike and Rosabelle Moore. He married Sandy Lease January 22, 1997 in Tiffin and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Waddell Lee Moore of Tiffin; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Culpepper of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Isiah Moore, Ayesha Moore and Takaia Goodman; six sisters, Juanita (Willie) Grant of Tiffin, Esther (Ernest) Pate of Bennettsville, S.C., Daisy LeGrant and Louvenia Tucker both of Tiffin, Dorothy (John) Kirby of Fostoria, Sarah Ingram of High Point, N.C., many, many nieces and nephews survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Lester “Big Man” Moore.
Waddell was retired from American Standard and a member of God’s Lighthouse. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing, playing the lottery, gardening, cleaning cars, riding in his son’s Camaro, and watching his grandson, Isiah play football, walking his dogs, Moses and Blessing, and enjoyed his cat ChyFaye.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at God’s Lighthouse followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. James Lucius Moore will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital Cancer Center at Tiffin or to God’s Lighthouse.
