Vivian Irene Blankenship, 80, of Tiffin, died at 5:55 pm Saturday, February 3, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born December 20, 1937, in Tiffin, to Glenn and Dolly (Sargent) Baugher. She married William Marshal Blankenship on July 2, 1955, in Tiffin, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1996.
She is survived by daughter, Valerie Ann Blankenship Hohman (John) of Tiffin, a son, Dennis Lee Blankenship (Sharon) of Twin Lake, MI, and daughter Vickie Blankenship Meske (Steve) of Canton, GA; five grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, Tyler, Josh, and Mariah; and one great grandchild, Cole.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Gene Baugher, and two sisters, Betty Apps and Eunice Philips.
Mrs. Blankenship graduated from Columbian High School in 1957 and attended the Cosmetology Academy of Tiffin. She retired after 20 years as a department head for Tiffin City Schools.
Private graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, and a celebration of Vivian’s life will be 2 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Pioneer Mill Restaurant, 255 Riverside Drive, Tiffin.
