Virginia I. Kildow, age 91, of Tiffin, Ohio, died at 12:10 am, Sunday, April 10, 2005, at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont, Ohio. She was born on January 11, 1914 in Columbus, Ohio to William Sylvester and Eva B.(Evans) Irwin. She married T. Monroe Kildow, in Tiffin and he died in 1988.
She has no immediate survivors, however she does leave a close friend, Florence Hopple of Tiffin, with whom she lived for the past 39 months.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Luann Irwin.
Mrs. Kildow graduated with a Master's Degree from the Ohio State University in education. She was a retired teacher, having taught 2 years in the Tiffin City Schools, she then headed the Art Department at Heidelberg College for 39 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the Order of Eastern Star both of Tiffin.
Private services will be conducted, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
