Viola Catharine Reinhart, 99, of New Riegel, died at 7:40 p.m. on February 6, 2001 at Ruffing Family Care Center in Tiffin. She was born to Joseph and Catharine (Schwartzmiller) Zoeller on July 23, 1901 in Seneca Township. On February 12, 1923 she married August M. Reinhart at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel. He died in 1952.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Francis (Marguerite) Theis and Mrs. Clarence (Dolores) Hemminger; 8 Grandchildren, and 16 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded by 2 sisters, Rosa Theis and Adeline Reinbolt; 3 brothers, Francis, John, and Edward Zoeller; and 1 Granddaughter, Anita Theis.
A lifelong homemaker, Mrs. Reinhart was also a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel, the Rosary Altar Society and a Charter member of New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary.
There will be a Wake Service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and a memorial by the American Legion Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m.on Friday.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral Mass in the parish cemetery.
