Vicky Marie Landers, age 56, of Highland Ave., Tiffin, died at 10:15 am, Friday, February 17, 2006, at her residence.
She was born in Tiffin, on July 7, 1949, to Ralph and Ruby (Koontz) Smith. Her father survives in Tiffin, and her mother, Ruby Tomsey, also survives in Tiffin. She married True Fox, then they later divorced. On March 16, 1979, she married Paul Landers, Jr., and he survives in Tiffin.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeremy T. (Melissa) Fox; and Paul J. (Kristi) Landers III both of Tiffin; six daughters, Tonya M. (John) Smith of Tiffin, Keyli (Brad) Stemen of Findlay, Kimberly (Greg) Simonds, Kristi (Brett) Elchert, Karena (Chris) Fowler, and Kendra (Shaun) Haman, all of Tiffin; seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother, David Tomsey of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Tina M. (Tomsey) Samsal, and her step-father, Stan Tomsey.
Mrs. Landers was a 1969 Calvert High School graduate, and a dedicated homemaker, devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Moose, and she was an avid bowler.
Services will be 11 am Monday, February 20, 2006, at the Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Rev. David M. Ross will officiate, with burial to follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 9 pm, at the funeral home.
