Twila A. Falter aged 75 years old, of 924 E. TR 201, Tiffin, Ohio, died Friday, July 13, 2001 at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born to Charles and Inez (Rife) Broede. She married Berdell E. Falter on Novebmer 16, 1946 in St. Stephen's Rectory. He survives.
Other survivors include, 2 sons, Robert J. Falter and Daniel L. Falter, both of Republic, Ohio; 1 daughter, Bonita "Bonnie" Shawberry of Tiffin, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by 1 daughter, Jean Marie Falter, and 1 sister, Thelma Clark.
Mrs. Falter was a 1944 graduate of Bloomville High School. She had retired from the Tiffin Developmental Center as a Secretary. She had previousy worked at Mercy Hospital as a Switchboard Operator and also in the Admitting Office. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio; the Republic Grange, Tiffin Ladies Moose Lodge, and the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Francis. She had volunteered for many years at Mercy Hospital and the St. Francis Nursing Home in the gift shop.
The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass. Contributions may be made to Autumnwood Care Center, Community Hospice Care, or to Mercy Hospital.
