Timothy J. Leahy, 72, of Tiffin, passed away at 5:45 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Tiffin Developmental Center where he received love and care since 1981. He was the heart of the Leahy family and their friends.
Tim was born to born on September 26, 1942 in Tiffin to James Clarence and Elizabeth Clare (Kelley) Leahy.
Tim is survived by five sisters: Susan (David) Aller of Royal Oak, MI, Colleen Leahy (Jack Callahan) and Shannon Leahy of Chicago, IL, Terri (Robert) Kline of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Molly Leahy (James Rogan) of Fairbanks, AK; his 8 nieces and nephews: Kelly Leahy, John (Melissa) Aller, Maureen (Joseph) Hunter, Michael Aller, Kevin (Shauna) Leahy, Erin Leahy, Heidi (Matt) Pattison and Brienne Callahan (Jeremy Karpen).
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Patrick and Daniel Leahy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with a 4:30 p.m. Wake service. A Mass of the Angels will be said Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Memorial Chapel at the Tiffin Developmental Center, 600 N. River Rd., with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will take place immediately after the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tiffin.
