Thomas Joseph Huss age 71 of 600 S. Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 28, 2003 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin, Ohio. He was born on March 22, 1932 in Tiffin, Ohio to Arthur and Bertha (Bolander) Huss. On November 25, 1961 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, he married Nancy Roe, who survives, but they later divorced.
Other survivors include 1 son, Lawrence Huss of Toledo, Ohio; 2 daughters, Katherine ( Walter) Potts of Clyde, Ohio and Elizabeth (Dennis) Potts of Clyde, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas Potts, Kellie Potts, Patrick Potts, Christine Potts, Sara Potts, and Jessica Potts; 2 brothers, Paul Huss of Tiffin, and Bernard Huss of Rocky River, Ohio; 3 sisters, Helen Packham of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rita Kappus of Toledo, Ohio and Agnes Roth of Tiffin, Ohio. He is predeceased by 2 brothers, William and John Huss and 1 sister, Patricia Hagar.
Mr. Huss was a 1951 Calvert High School graduate. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. He had also served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. Mr. Huss had retired in 1993 after serving 28 years as a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service in Clyde, Ohio. He had also worked at Whirlpool in Clyde.

Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the United Veterans Council.
