Thelma Mary Overholtz Jones age 86 years old, died Thursday, July 12, 2001 at Hospice Care Center, Copley, Ohio. She was born to George and Ida (Gruss) Lonsway. She married Willard Overholtz on June 16, 1936. He passed away on December 10, 1986. On October 10, 1990 she married Paul Jones. He passed away on December 12, 1997.
Other survivors include 1 brother, James Lonsway of Del Ray Beach, Florida; 2 sisters Esther Enders, of Fairlawn, Ohio and Alma Olinger of Tiffin; 4 nephews and 6 nieces also survive. She is predeceased by 1 brother, Cyril Lonsway.
Mrs. Overholtz Jones owned and operated "The Ranch". She also built and owned/operated the former Will-O Motel in Tiffin. She was a member of St. Hillary Catholic Church, in Fairlawn, Ohio. She was a resident of the village of St. Edward's retirement home in Fairlawn, Ohio since July of 1998.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2001. A Wake Service will be held at 8:45 P.M. in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the Donor's Choice.
