Thelma Josephine Cameron, 79, of Tiffin died 10:30 p.m. December 16, 2011 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin. She was born October 28, 1932 to Harvey L. and Mary M. (Myers) Terry. She married James M. Cameron, April 23, 1960 in Tiffin and he survives.
Other survivors include five sons, Thomas M. Cameron, Christopher M. (Lynette) Cameron, Timothy M. Cameron, Kandy M. Cameron and Robert M. (Monica) Cameron all of Tiffin; a daughter, Mary H. Cameron of Delaware, Ohio; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Clayton Terry of Tiffin, Jimmy Terry of Lexington, Tenn., Maurice Terry, of Akins, S.C., Boyd Terry and Jerry Terry both of Tiffin, two sisters, Marianne McGowen and Opal Gooden both of Tiffin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Vernon, Carl, Gordon and Leslie Terry, a sister Arloween L. Mizen and a daughter-in-law, Liz Cameron.
Thelma was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends and Family may call from 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 and one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Nathan Howe officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Garden Mausoleum.
