Suzanne Marie Simmons, 74, of SR 101, Tiffin, died at 5:55pm on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
She was born on June 24, 1933 in Tiffin to the late George and Marcella (Hoffman) Pahl. On January 12, 1951, she married Robert J. Simmons in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin and he survives.
Other survivors include son Jeff Simmons of Whitehouse, Ohio; daughter Andrea Imes of Fostoria; five grandchildren, Mitch Simmons, Elayna Simmons, Christopher Imes, Jeremy Imes, and Jamie Imes; sister Sr. Mary St. Paul of Cleveland, OH ; three brothers, David (Mary Ann) Pahl of Tiffin, George (Norma) Pahl of Indianapolis, IN, and Gerard (Sylvia) Pahl of Kalamazoo, MI.
Mrs. Simmons graduated from Calvert High School in 1951 and worked at St. Joseph Credit Union and in the registrar’s office at Heidelberg College. She was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin.
