Suzanne Englehart

Suzanne C. Englehart, 77, of Tiffin, died at 5:58 am Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.

Suzanne was born June 13, 1941, in Tiffin to William W. and Mary C. (Schmelzer) Englehart.

Survivors include two brothers, John (Patricia) Englehart of Tiffin, Michael Englehart of Brook Park, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Cheryl) Englehart, Jeffery (Gail) Englehart, Jennifer (Rod) Agerter, Michelle (Todd) Bowers, Susan (Jeffery) Schetter, Sarah (Paul) Weidner, Matthew (Elizabeth) Englehart, Michelle (David) Miller, Amy Englehart, and Rebecca (Jerry) McMillen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Anne Englehart.

Suzanne was a 1959 graduate of Calvert Catholic High School, and had attended Mary Manz College in Toledo. She worked at AT&T in Dayton retiring after 27 years. Suzanne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mothers Study Club and card clubs. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, cooking, baking, critiquing, the holidays and spending family time with nieces and nephews. She will be missed for her homemade noodles, hard white cookies, homemade ketchup and butterscotch candies.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113, with a Wake service at 1:30 p.m. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. The Rosary will be recited twenty minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
