Stephen F. Depinet, 57, of Tiffin, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Stephen was born June 16, 1959, in Tiffin to Bernard E. and Theresa (Faeth) Depinet. He married Tina Depp Sept. 1, 2007, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica and she survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include his mother, Theresa Depinet of Tiffin; three sons, Corey (Terese) Depinet of Republic, Josh (Ashley) Depinet of Tiffin, and Greg Depp of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren, Makenna, Braylen, Kiera, Jaron, Blake, Ally, and Laila; two brothers, Mark (Kelly) Depinet of New Riegel, Scott (Shari) Depinet of Republic; a sister, Alicia “Kooche” (Jim) Frisch of Tiffin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard; Corey and Josh’s mother, Tracy Swander.
Stephen was a 1977 Seneca East High School graduate. He was a hydraulic specialist at National Machinery for almost 40 years, a Quarter Century Member of National and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2 p.m. – 8 p. m., Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at the Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, and (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be at 1:30 p.m. and Quarter Century Club will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at the funeral home followed by the Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will be immediately following in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.
