Ruth E. (Perkins) Rospert

Ruth E. Rospert, 84, of Tiffin, died at 10:31a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018, at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital.  She was born July 19, 1933, in Seneca County, Ohio, to Roy L. and Treva M. (Miller) Perkins.  She married Joseph A. Rospert July 30, 1955, in Tiffin.  He died April 21, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula J. (Gary) Clagg of Tiffin, and Shirlene L. (Phil Cook) Justus, of Hilliard; four granddaughters, Nicole E. (Michael) Salaciak, Monique G. Clagg, Jacquelene L. (Thomas) Hayes, Jenna M.(Andy Fooce) Justus; two great grandchildren, Titus H. and Kamdyn L. Hayes;  two brothers, Raymond L. Perkins of Tiffin, Marvin (Carolyn) Perkins of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three sisters, Dolores Agerter, Shirley Kear and Sharon O’Nan all of Tiffin.

She is preceded by her parents, husband, two sisters, Phyllis Raitz and Mary Alice Nominee, two brothers-in-law, Norbert Raitz and Frank Nominee, an infant brother Dwight Perkins and a brother, Daryl Perkins.

Ruth was a graduate of Bloomville High School, and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She worked at General Electric Company and at McDonalds.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the funeral home.  Rev. Marilyn Coney will officiate.  Burial will take place immediately following in Fairmont Cemetery.
