Rosemary “Rosie” Wagner, age 68, of CR 10, New Riegel, Ohio, died at 3:15 p.m. December 29, 2005 in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Care Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on September 8, 1937 in Alvada, Ohio to the late Leroy and Clarina (Theis) Tiell. On September 13, 1958 in St. Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, she married Eugene W. Wagner. He survives.
Other survivors include, 2 sons, Dave (Regina) Wagner of Alvada; Steve Wagner of New Riegel; 1 daughter, Sandy (Doug) Brickner of Alvada; 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Lee, Craig, Adam and Matthew Brickner; Terri, Alec, Jami, and Dustin Wagner; 2 brothers, Mike Tiell of Bradner, Ohio; and Ken Tiell of Massilon, Ohio; 2 sisters, Janice Magers of Tiffin, and Kathy Kemerley, of Findlay. She is preceded in death by 1 brother, Ralph Tiell.
Mrs. Wagner was a 1956 New Riegel High School graduate, and she was a loving, caring, wife, mother, and a homemaker. She was a member of the All Saints Parish, New Riegel; the Rosary Altar Society; Young Farm Wives; Past Senior Regent of Women of the Moose; Lady Knight of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus; Toledo Catholic Council of Diocesan Women (TCCDW); and a Past Board Member of Rural Life. She was very involved with her grandchildren. Faith, Family, Friends and Fun were very important to her.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 1, 2006 from 2-9 PM at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883. (419) 447-3113 and also from 9:00 - 10:15 AM Monday, January 2 at All Saints Parish Catholic Church. There will be a wake service at 8:30 PM Sunday, at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at 10:15 AM Monday at the church. Rev. Ron Schock will officiate the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, January 2, 2006 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Alvada.
