Rose Ann Brines, age 87, formerly of Main St., Tiffin, Ohio, died at 4 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2006, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born July 22, 1919, in Chicago, to the late Frank and Mary (Speller) Kuruzovich. She was married to Gilbert Brines, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (John A.) Bates of Towson, Maryland; two grandchildren, John Bates of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jennifer Bates of Washington D.C.; and a sister, Margaret Biska of Campbell, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Skripac.
Mrs. Brines was retired as a clerk at J.C. Penney and Hills Department Stores in Youngstown, where she worked for over fifty years.
