Rose (Martin) Terry

January 2, 1926 — April 18, 2018

Rose Terry, 92, of Tiffin, died at 1:51 pm Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital.

She was born January 2, 1926, in Marseille, France, to Joseph and Savine (Manzo) Martin.  She married John G. Terry November 22, 1952, in Montreal, Quebec.  He died August 14, 2001.

Survivors include a son, Robert L. Terry, and a daughter, Diane Innes, both of Tiffin; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Hannah Terry; two great grandchildren, London Ivy Quillen and Cory Tyler Quillen and two nieces, Martine Trojani of Marseille, France, and Corinne Gueit of Istres, France.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Martin.

Rose graduated high school in France and attended secretary school.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds and Bingo.  Spending family time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy, and especially time with her dog Sophie.

Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018, all at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
