Rosalie Elaine Hinklin (Didde) Schetter

Rosalie Elaine Hinklin Schetter, 84, of Tiffin, died at 3:35 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at St. Francis Home.

She was born July 12, 1931, in Olpe, Kansas, to Francis (Frank) and Clara (Strutzel) Didde.  She married Lee Hinklin August 6, 1955, and he died April 17, 2005.  She then married James F. Schetter October 5, 1991, and he survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving are three sons, Wayne Hinklin of San Diego, Calif., William (Penny) Hinklin of Sunbury, and John (Sonya) Hinklin of Bucyrus; a step-son, Robert Schetter of Tiffin; two daughters, Julie Hinklin of Lexington, Ohio, and Kimberlee (Tim) Ellis of Tiffin; five step-daughters, Barbara (Don) Williams, Rose Rodriguez, Mary Kiesel, Margaret (William) Shepherd, and Joann Otto, all of Tiffin; 33 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren; two brothers, John Didde of Kansas, and Arthur (Sally) Didde of Minnesota; and two sisters, Maybelle Sheetz and Marcella (Howard) Anderson, both of Topeka, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Didde.

Mrs. Schetter was graduate of Emporia State University in Kansas and retired as a teacher for the Buckeye Central Schools, having taught high school business classes.  She was also a track coach, cheerleading adviser, and yearbook adviser.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and active at YMCA where she made many friends.

Visitation will be 2- 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio  44883 (419)447-3113.  A Wake Service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
