Ronald "Hairs" A. Berry

Ronald A. "Hairs" Berry, 78, died at 8:01 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2023, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

Ronald was born December 9, 1944, in Tiffin, to Fred and Marjorie (Shuman) Berry.  He married Jean M. Bloom, on May 14, 1977, at St. Joseph Catholic Church and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include a stepson, Jeffrey M. Griffin of South Dakota; a stepdaughter, Victoria Lincicome of Elmore; six step-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas (Anna) Berry of Tiffin, and Frank Berry of Bettsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Lou Berry, and Grace Berry; a stepbrother, Alfred Berry and a stepsister, Beverly Autullo.

Ronald was a 1963 graduate of Calvert Catholic High School. He retired from Webster Manufacturing, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Eagles.  He was an avid sportsman and a lifelong Notre Dame fan.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113.

Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Private Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Columbarium.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
