Robert B. Nevius, age 82, formerly of 10 Hampden Park, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 4:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born January 30, 1923, in Tiffin, Ohio to Benjamin and Ella (Lange) Nevius. On July 26, 1947, in New Washington, Ohio he married Jeanette C. Wurm. She died on May 25, 1998.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Mark (Sharon) Nevius of Mansfield, Ohio; Kevin (Dianna) Nevius of Gibsonburg, Ohio; and 1 daughter, Elaine (Terry) Nusbaum of Tiffin, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Nusbaum, Ashley Nusbaum, Zachary Nevius and Kelsey Nevius. He was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Nevius.
Mr. Nevius was a 1942 Columbian High School graduate. He had retired after 36 years as a cable and line foreman for Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and the Knights of Columbus. He was a United States Navy veteran, serving during World War II.
