Rita May Seipp, age 83, formerly of Jackson Street, died at 10:15 PM, Wednesday February 18, 2009 at Volunteers of America of Autumnwood Care Center.
Rita was born to the late Elmer J. and Inez M. (Wade) Hoffman on June 21, 1925 in Perrysburg, Ohio. On November 23, 1968 she married Howard M. Seipp Jr. in Tiffin, Ohio and he died on July 10, 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Chris) Hafley and Suzanne (Ken) Schock; six grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsey, Lauren and Luke Hafley, and Ian and Jessica Schock.
Rita was preceded by an infant daughter; five brothers, Merlin, Norman, Elmer A., Lloyd, and Carroll Hoffman; and two sisters, Anne Louise Zygula and Naomi Marie Zygela.
Rita attended Lima Central Catholic High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Prayers will be said at 10:30 am at the funeral home Saturday, February 21, 2009 followed by the funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Eric Culler will officiate. The rosary will be recited in church 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will take place immediately following at Fairmont Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
