Richard James “Dick” Wright, age 66 years, of W. CR 48, Tiffin, Ohio died at 11:58 pm Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Mercy Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born on July 11, 1941 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Robert G. and Florence M. (Salisbury) Wright. On December 14, 1963 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, he married Anna Mae (Ann) Wagner and she survives.
Other survivors include, two sons, Terrence (Renee) Wright and Todd Wright both of Tiffin; three daughters, Tammy (Gerald) Schalk, Tonya Fields both of Tiffin and Tracy (Mark) Bevelander of Enterprise, Alabama; 5 grandchildren, Alec and Ashli Fields, Christian and Dylan Bevelander, and Delana Wright.
Mr. Wright is preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Wright.
Dick was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Clemans Michigan High School. He was the former owner and General Manager of WTTF, Inc. Radio. He was a member and chairman of Mercy Hospital Board of Trustees. He had also served on the Mercy Hospital Advisory Board for two terms, a board member for National City Bank and Tiffin Rotary.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery.
