Richard J. Valentine, 23, of Tiffin, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at his residence.
Richard was born in Bucyrus, June 28, 1991 to Berlin C. Valentine and Carolyn R. (Depinet) Tiell, and they survive, his father in Marysville and his mother in Tiffin.
Other survivors include his son, Josiah Matthew Valentine of Richwood; his stepfather, Michael Tiell of Tiffin; his stepmother, Brandee Valentine of Marysville; a brother, Mason Valentine of Bloomville; a sister, Amber Williams of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Joe and Pat Depinet of Tiffin; paternal grandparents, Richard and Jan Valentine of Tiffin; several nieces and nephews, including Jaelynn Williams and Jaliyah Williams.
Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Hunter Valentine.
Richard was a 2010 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School; he served in the US Army and worked at Laminate Technologies of Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Traunero Funeral Home and and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113.
Services will be 6:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.
