Ralph P. Seislove, age 88, of Tiffin, Ohio, died January 18, 2003. He was born April 15, 1914, in Tiffin, to Louis and Clara (Fey) Seislove. On June 27, 1936, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, he married Dolores C. Reinhart. She survives. Also surviving are a son, David (Phyllis) Seislove, 2 daughters, Rita (Joseph) Scherger and Beth (Nicholas) Boyer, all of Tiffin; 3 brothers, Richard, Kenneth, & Donald Seislove, all of Tiffin; a sister, Dorothy Black of Tiffin; 11 grandchildren, Cyndi Schalk, Daniel (Pam) Scherger, Jeffrey (Dana) Scherger, Karen (Mark) Pardi, Tim (Bibiana) Seislove, Sue (Jay) Eastman, Ron (Marilyn) Seislove, Anne (Art) Price, Jane (Steve) Volpe, Aimee (Mark) Bailey, and Andrew Boyer. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephan Seislove, 2 brothers, Wayne and Howard Seislove, and a sister, Helen Payment.
Mr. Seislove graduated in 1932 from Calvert High School and was the founder of Seislove Burial Vault Service, established in 1946. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Third and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Elks Tiffin Lodge 94, the National and Ohio Burial Vault Associations, the St. Joseph Cemetery Board, and he enjoyed gardening, golfing, horses, and was an avid football fan.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
