Ralph Eugene “Gene” Dible, age 67, of Orchard Park, Tiffin, died at 1:05 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2006, at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born February 16, 1939, in Carey, to Ralph and Josephine Dible. His father is deceased, and his mother survives in Carey. On February 14, 2000, in Tiffin, he married Dorothy Walters, and she survives.
Also surviving are two step-sons, Anthony Walters of Toledo, and Christopher (Melanie) Walters of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Susan (Robert) Wurm of Huber Heights, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kristin and Jacob Wurm, Emily Walters and Matthew Walters. Several brothers and sisters also survive.
Mr. Dible retired in 1995 from Atlas in Fostoria, and was working part-time at ICP in Tiffin. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Services will be 2 pm today, Saturday, June 17, 2006, at the Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Private burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
