Pearl Margaret Everhart, age 84, of Ella St., Tiffin, Ohio, died at 5:05 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2004, at Countryside Care Center, Fremont, Ohio. She was born December 19, 1920, in Seneca County, to William and Grace F. (Yochum) Trachsel. She married Harry A. Everhart on October 28, 1940 in Seneca County, and he died February 29, 1988. She is survived by four sons, David Allen (Pat) Everhart, Daniel FloydWilliam (Connie Jean) Everhart, Dale Timothy Everhart, & Darl Jacob Everhart, all of Tiffin; a daughter, Diana (Gary) Coleman of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Tara Lynn & Chad Allen Everhart, Scott Eugene Seery, Robin Lynn Everhart, John-Thomas Gaietto, & Jessica Ruth Everhart; three step grandchildren, Dawn Sholl-Chapman, Brandon Sowa and Casey Sowa; 1 step great grandchild Kelvin Hronek; a sister-in-law, Mary Trachsel of Ft. Myers, Florida. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lila Everhart, and a brother, Floyd Trachsel and a step granddaughter, Laura Sholl-Hronek.
Mrs. Everhart was a 1939 graduate of Columbian High School. She retired as a start winder at General Electric Company of Tiffin. She had also delivered the Advertiser-Tribune for 25 years.
She was a member of Second United Church of Christ, Tiffin, Allen Eiry Senior Center, GEWOT, Seneca County Commission on Aging, she was a volunteer for Community Hospice Care, and a former Cub Scout Leader. She was also active in Project Read Literacy Program and a former Erie Shores Girl Scout Leader.
Those who wish may attend the burial service at 10:30 am Tuesday, December 28, at Rock Creek Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 am, Tuesday, at the Church. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care of Tiffin.
