Paul Richard Warnement, age 93, of Tiffin, Ohio, died September 4, 2001 at his residence. He was born on January 8, 1908 to Leo and Ida (Zirger) Warnement. He married Marian F. Sexton on January 19, 1928 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio. She died on January 1, 1995.
Other survivors include 1 son, Richard and his wife, Nancy Warnement of Tiffin, Ohio; 1 daughter-in-law, Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Warnement of Tiffin; 2 brothers, Elmer Warnement of Tiffin, and Herman Warnement of Canton, Ohio; 1 sister, Alice Warnement of Tiffin; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great granchildren. He is preceded by 2 sons, Edward and Thomas Warnement; 1 grandson, Thomas H. Warnement; 2 brothers, Ralph and Urban Warnement; and 3 sisters Francis Eichorn, Genevieve Warnement and Sr. Mary Estelle Warnement, OSU.
Mr. Warnement was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked at National Machinery from 1928-1969 in the Test and Service Department. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club, Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge, he was an avid bowler, and a life long Tiffin resident.
The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care, St. Joseph Activity Center or to Calvert Foundation.
