Pauline M. Beard, age 93, formerly of Water St., Tiffin, died at 12:15 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born November 11, 1913, in Castalia, Ohio, to the late James and Sarah (Reed) Adams. On December 16, 1935, in Tiffin, she married Walter M. Beard, who died September 22, 1995.
Surviving are three sons, Edward (Carolyn) Beard of Oak Harbor, Ohio; Donald (Charlene) Beard of Clyde, Ohio, and Walter Paul Beard of Lakeside, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Beard of Fremont, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Malone, two sons, Ralph Beard and James Malone, a brother, William Adams, and a sister, Gertrude Holtzmiller.
Mrs. Beard was a graduate of Margaretta High School and had worked at General Electric Co. in Tiffin and Bellevue. She was a member of the Pillar of Faith Church, Tiffin.
Services will be 11 am Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in the Pillar of Faith Church, with Revs. Jeffrey King and Robert Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
