Paula Combs

Paula Jean Combs, of Tiffin, Ohio died at 4:17 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022, at her residence.  She was born February 1, 1952, in Bad Axe, Michigan to Paul and Wanda (Luther) Parent.  She married David Combs August 30, 1969, in Clintwood Virginia, and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Ron (Kelley) Combs of Wilmington, Ohio, and Matt (Connye) Combs of Tiffin; six grandchildren; a brother, Rick Parent of Phoenix, Arizona, a cousin, Barb (Ventline) Guy, and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cook of Hanover Indiana; and also her furbaby dogs, Daisy and Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather that raised her, Loren Guild; a brother, Ron Guild; her aunt Vivian McCarty; and her beloved dogs, Fluff and Zoey.

Paula was a 1971 graduate of Columbian High School.  She retired from the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.  She enjoyed the Smoky Mountains, Amish Country, walking her dogs, and attending her grandchildren’s activities.

At Paula’s request, there will be no visitation, and private services will be held at a later date.  Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery.
