Olive M. Guss, 94, formerly of 7 W. Market Street, Tiffin, died on Thursday, March 27, at 6:55 p.m., at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin. She was born on March 12, 1909 to George and Sarah E. (Wolfe) McDonald, in Tiro, Ohio. On November 27, 1942 she married Jack Guss in Tiffin. He died on December 31, 1971.
She is survived by four nieces, Ruth M. Crawford, of Canton, Ohio; June Roth, of Canton, Ohio; Modelle Way, of Dayton, Ohio; and Phyllis Duff, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and two nephews, Buton McDonald, of Tiffin, and Gene Duff, of Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded by two sisters and six brothers.
Mrs. Guss was a housekeeper for Mrs. Purdy for many years. She was a charter member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Daughters of America.
There will be no funeral service. Burial will be at 1 pm, Monday, March 31, at Greenlawn Cemetery.
