Nova M. Sendelbach, age 83, of E. TR 122 Tiffin, Ohio; died at 8:13 A.M. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. She was born on November 2, 1922 in Bascom, Ohio to the late Virgil and Myrtle (Heckart) Haugh. On March 24, 1945 in Ft. Pierce, Florida, she married Roland F. Sendelbach and he survives.
Other survivors include 3 sons, Michael (Lisa) Sendelbach of Houston, Texas; Thaddeus (Patty) Sendelbach of New London, Ohio; Theodore Sendelbach of Findlay, Ohio; 3 daughters, Rolanda (Frank) Williams of Toledo, Ohio; Tonja Sendelbach of Youngstown, Ohio; and Adonica Sendelbach of Chicago, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, Damon, Jamie, Aaron and Ryan Williams; Mario and Kristina Moreno; Jeremy and Cory Sendelbach; Sherry Garcia; Jason and Jonah Sendelbach; Sondra Sendelbach; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Jack Haugh of Milo, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Jeannette Marshall; and Alice Grieve; and 1 brother, Thomas Haugh.
Mrs. Sendelbach was a 1940 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. She also graduated from Bowling Green State University. She retired in 1993 as an art teacher at Hopewell-Loudon High School. She had taught all over the Seneca County school districts. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom, and its Rosary Altar Society. She also was a member of the Eagles.
The Funeral Mass will be officiated by Rev. Art Newiadomski at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 26, 2006 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, June 24, 2006 and 2-8 P.M. Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. There will be a Wake Service at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, at the Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Allen Eiry Senior Center , or to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
