Nina L. Baker, age 86, formerly of Miami St., Tiffin, died at 9:10 am, Sunday, July 29, 2007, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born February 12, 1921, in Tiffin, to the late Wilbur and Nina (Wise) Feasel. On May 24, 1941 at Rev. Cantor’s home in Tiffin, she married Stanley Baker, who died August 28, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, John Allen Baker of Alvada, and James Franklin (Wendy) Baker of Tiffin; five daughters, Margy (Tom) Borer of New Riegel, Mary (Terry) DeMars, Diana Murray of Arkansas, Carol (Tom) Traunero, and Janet (Verne Sr.) Keefe, all of Tiffin; 27 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild on the way; a brother, Charles (Polly) Feasel of Tiffin; and two sisters, Dorothy Tyree of Tiffin, and Lillian Scott of Florida.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Carl, William, and Merritt Feasel, and four sisters, Thelma Hipler, Florence Keller, Anna Bagent, and Betty Chaffee; and granddaughter Gale Borer Busack.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and a good party. Nina also enjoyed shopping and eating out.
