Nicholas was born September 14, 1981 in Tiffin to Terrance and Denise (Ranker) Hunter.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Terrance and Tina Hunter of Tiffin; a brother, Matthew Hunter of Tiffin; a sister, Jessica Hunter of Columbus; two step-brothers, Brandon Giesler and Nathan Wilhelm; a step-sister, Ashley Giesler; grandparents, Barry and Lucy Wade of Tiffin; and special friend, his "rock", Sarah Woodruff of Manhattan, N. Y.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his mother, a grandfather, Joe Hunter, and grandparents, Norman and Patricia Ranker.
He was a 2000 Tiffin Columbian High School graduate, in 2005 earned his B.S. from the Ohio State University. He was a group accounts supervisor and marketing strategist at Harrison and Star in Manhattan, N.Y. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He embraced the New York City life style and night life.
There will be no visitation.
The Funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Kishore Kottana. Private burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
