Survivors include two sons, Gregory A. (Kristine) Cooper of Van Buren, and Steven C. Cooper of New Riegel; three daughters, Sandra (Juan) Gonzales of New Riegel, Lisa McGhee of Tiffin and Dawn Frisch of Tiffin, nine grandchildren, Devin, Brice and Desirae Cooper, Jacob and Jordan Gonzales, and Cassandra, Derrick, Breeanna, Alonzo McGhee; three brothers, Louis Hohman of Delphos, Carl Hohman of Tiffin, Raymond Hohman of Luckey; three sisters, Mildred Michener of Republic, Susan Hohman of Tiffin, Marilyn Metzger of Elmore.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Ann Cooper and a brother Dale Hohman.
Nancy attended New Riegel High School and graduated from Calvert High School. She retired from Wal-Mart after 20 years of service. She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, the Rosary Altar Society, New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary, Knights of Tiffin Motorcycle Club, volunteer at the Ritz Theatre, headed up the Wal-Mart Bingo Bunch and was a member of the Red Hat Society Chapter Gadabouts.
Visitation with the family will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary services.
Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Monday, October 24, 20011 followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at All Saints Parish, New Riegel officiated by Rev. Timothy Kummerer. The rosary will be recited at the church 20 minutes prior to the Mass. A private burial will be held in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to F.A.C.T., Community Hospice Care, or to All Saints Parish in care of the funeral home.
