Michael Joseph Zoeller, age 55, of St. Clair St., Tiffin, died at 10:15 am, Saturday August 4, 2007, at his residence.
He was born December 26, 1951, in Tiffin, to Joseph John and Georgetta Ann (LaFountaine) Zoeller. His father died in 1965, and his mother, now Georgetta Hursey, survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include a brother, Carl P. Zoeller of Torrance, California; a sister, Sharon A. Straub of Tiffin; a niece, Elisha Boehler, and two great nephews, Robbie and Alex Boehler.
Mr. Zoeller worked in the construction industry as a roofer and handyman. He was a graduate of Calvert High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mike loved fishing, NASCAR racing, shooting pool, and sketching with charcoal. He enjoyed his great nephews Robbie and Alex and time spent with his friends. He fought a hard battle with cancer, never once giving up.
A public gathering and meal for family and friends will be provided at the Tiffin Eagles Aerie on Saturday, August 11, 2007, from 4 to 6 pm. Private family services and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blanchard Valley Cancer Center, or to Bridge Hospice.
