Michael D. Travis, 68, of Tiffin died Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born October 9, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Evelyn (Mathias) Travis.
Survivors include a brother, David (JoAnn) Travis of Tiffin; two sisters, Sister Nancy Mathias of Toledo, and Judith (James) Kiefus of Auburn Hills, Mich.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joey and Robert Travis; and grandparents, Cecil and Dorothy Travis and Virgil and Louise Mathias.
Michael was a 1965 graduate of the Ohio School of the Deaf, Columbus. He was a retired meat cutter at Routh Packing Company.
A special thank is given to his caregivers, Destiny, Vickie and Theresa.
A private graveside service will be performed at Fairmont Cemetery officiated by his sister, Sister Nancy Mathias.
