Mary Louise (Mary Lou) Huss,age 83, of Tiffin, Ohio died at 8:30 A.M. Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Heartland of Waterville Skilled Nursing Care Center,Waterville, Ohio. She was born on January 13, 1922 in Liberty Township, Seneca Co, Ohio to Herman and Louise (Smith) Scherger. On May 1, 1946 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, she married Victor D. Huss who survives.

Other survivors include, 3 sons, John (Annette) Huss of New Riegel, Ohio; Daniel (Maureen) Huss of Dublin, Ohio; and James (Susan) Huss of Columbus, Ohio; 5 daughters, Angela (David) Koons of Fostoria, Ohio; Patricia (Russell) Randolph, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Teresa (James) Celek, of Fremont, Ohio; Marilyn (Raymond) Stump of Kansas, Ohio; and Beatrice (Dr. Michael) Hodovanic of Cincinnati; 24 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Rev. Herman Scherger of Cloverdale, Ohio; 2 sisters, Zita (Ernest) Hohman, of Fostoria and Germaine Perry of Tiffin, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Catherine (Cathy) Margraf on Sept. 14, 2005; an infant daughter, Mary; and 4 brothers, Bernard, Carl, Cyril and Gerald Scherger.

Mrs. Huss was a 1939 Jackson Liberty High School graduate and had retired in 1985 from Bendix Corporation in Fostoria.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin; a former member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Liberty Twp., St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin, and St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society in both Tiffin and New Riegel, the New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary; New Riegel Ladies of the Moose, Catholic Knights of Ohio Branch 52, New Riegel, and she was a past member of the Sweet Adeline's singing group in Fostoria, Ohio.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m. at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. A parish wake service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:45 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at All Saints Parish Church, New Riegel, Ohio with Rev. Ron Schock and Rev. Herman Scherger concelebrating. Burial will follow immediately in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.

Contributions may be made to Catholic Knights of Ohio Vocational Fund, 22005 Mastic Rd. Fairview Park, Ohio 44126-9911, or for Masses, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
