Mary E. Lucius, 75, formerly of 120 Wentz Street, Tiffin, died at 11:35 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2002, at St. Francis Nursing Home.
She was born January 31, 1927, in Seneca County to the late Gorgon and Margaret (Lamberjack) Reinhart. On June 26, 1948, she married Carl P. Lucius at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. He preceded her in death July 11, 1992.
Other survivors include: 5 sons, Tom Lucius, Dave (Rose) Lucius, Denny (Lisa) Lucius, John Lucius, and Chris Lucius; 2 daughters, Mrs. Jane (Fred) Flechtner and Lisa Lucius; 11 grandchildren, A.J. and Emily Lucius, Mindy, Amanda, and Nick Lucius, Eric Flechtner, Laura Flechtner, Lindsay Flechtner, Michelle and Alysia Lucius, and Matthew Lucius. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and 1 brother, Gerald (Ann) Reinhart.
Mrs. Lucius was a 1945 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society, and supported school sports. She was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Notre Dame.
There will be a Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home and the Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass on Friday morning.
Contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Calvert, Community Hospice Care, St. Francis Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor's choice.
