Mary Ann Kimmet, age 46, of W. CR 38, Tiffin, died at 6 pm Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 9, 1961 in Tiffin to Cyril and Mary Ellen (Hoepf) Gosche and they survive in New Riegel. On September 12, 1980, Mary Ann married Jerry Kimmet in St. Patrick Church in Bascom and he survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jason Kimmet of Tiffin; two daughters, Deanna (Eric) Brooks of Wooster and Janelle Kimmet of Tiffin; five brothers, Ron (Donna) Gosche of Bascom, Dick (Linda) Gosche of Bascom, Larry Gosche of Bascom, Joe (Anita) Gosche of Tiffin, and Jim (Lori) Gosche of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude and Eleanor (Wetzel) Gosche and Leo and Eulalia (Wenzinger) Hoepf.
Mary Ann graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1979 and was most recently a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Garlapati in Tiffin. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Liberty Township. Mary Ann enjoyed playing Bingo, cross stitching, making crafts, and attending high school sporting events. She was also a loving wife and mother who always put her family’s needs before hers.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:30am at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Liberty Township with Rev. Art Newiadomski officiating. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be immediately following in St. Andrew Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 9 pm at Traunero Funeral Home 214 S. Monroe Street Tiffin, Ohio 44883 419-447-3113. A wake service will be conducted at 3pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to F.A.C.T. of Seneca County (Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment).
