Mary Alice (Smith) Bouillon, 89, of New Riegel, died at 9:22 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Mary Alice was born on October 8, 1930, in Tiffin, to Ralph and Liona (Steinmetz) Smith. She married Edmund “Jim” Bouillon October 8, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he died March 5, 1983.
Survivors include a son, Thomas (Donna) Bouillon of New Riegel; six daughters, Kathleen (Rick) Bunge of Lambertville, Michigan, Dorothy (Gary) Hausman of Flat Rock, North Carolina, Carolyn Bouillon of New Riegel, Diane Bouillon of Maumee, Linda Molyneux of Dayton, Victoria (Todd) Riley of Oregon; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Laura (Ray) Hohman of Tiffin; two sisters, Sr. Regina Smith of Perrysburg, Theresa Walliser of Tiffin; and sisters-in-law, Rose Smith of Tiffin, Doris Lortz of Carey, Anna Elchert and Rita Bouillon both of New Riegel and Mary Ellen (Carl) Hoffman of Burgoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Francis Bouillon; four brothers, Paul Smith, Victor Smith, Herman Smith, Joseph Smith; two sisters, Irene Steinhauser, Sr. M. Bonaventure; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Victoria Erwin.
Mary Alice was a 1948 graduate of Calvert Catholic High School, a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and Its Altar Rosary Society, a life member of the American Legion post 354 Auxiliary and the New Riegel Moose Lodge. She enjoyed sewing, baking, girls trips, and spending time with her family and friends.
Due to Covid19, a walk through visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay respects, and exit without lingering.
An additional visitation will be at 10:15 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel. The Rev. Timothy Kummerer will be officiating. The Mass will be live-streamed, please visit: https://www.allsaints-parish.com/ for more information. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel. Again, due to Covid19, there will be no luncheon.
