Mary A. Hemminger, 92, formerly of Schonhardt St., Tiffin, died at 1:15 pm, Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Ruffing Family Care Center in Tiffin.
She was born August 15, 1914, in Tiffin, to the late Henry and Anna (Poiry) Mareches.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann (Thomas) Burwell of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Rick (Melinda) Kilen, Jerry (Shelley) Kilen, Shari Hemminger and spouse, and Tiffany Hemminger and spouse; two step grandchildren, Jeff and Kenny Hohman; eight great grandchildren, Sprite, Adam, David, Tiffany, Chance, Raye Ann, Robbie, and Izak Kilen; and three great-great grandchildren, Seth, Madison, and Damon Kilen.
She was preceded in death by four sons, Theodore Stevenson, Richard Hemminger, and twins Albert and Dalbert Hemminger, a sister, Eulalia Kightlinger, and two brothers, Al and Russ Mareches.
Mrs. Hemminger worked at General Electric Company, and at the Bomber Factory in Willow Run, Michigan. She was a member of the Eagles, and she loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113, with Rev. Jan Kucera officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society, or to Ruffing Family Care Center.
