Mary D. "Dolores" (Reinhart) Seislove

Mary D. “Dolores” Seislove, 101, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on September 8, 1915, in Tiffin, Ohio to Michael and Jennie (Gillig) Reinhart.  On June 27, 1936 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married Ralph P. Seislove and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2003.

Survivors include her son, David (Phyllis) Seislove of Tiffin; daughters, Rita (Joseph) Scherger and Mary Beth (Nicholas) Boyer, both of Tiffin; 11 grandchildren, Cyndi Schalk, Daniel (Pam) Scherger, Jeffrey (Dana) Scherger, Karen (Mark) Pardi, Tim (Bibiana) Seislove, Sue (Jay) Eastman, Ron (Marilyn) Seislove, Anne (Art) Price, Jane (Steve) Volpe, Aimee Boyer and Andrew Boyer; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great, great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephan Alan Seislove; and twin brothers, Harold and Francis Reinhart.

Dolores graduated in 1933 from Tiffin Calvert High School and was co-owner, with her husband, Ralph, of Seislove Burial Vault Service, which was established in 1946.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and their Altar Rosary Society, St. Francis Auxiliary, Tiffin Garden Club, past member of Altrusa Club and was a Girl Scout leader for years.  Dolores enjoyed gardening, birds, traveling the world, and holidays with her family.  She was a very giving woman, loved her family and always put them first.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 on Tuesday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Calvert Catholic Schools or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
