Mary Ruth Frisch, 96, of Tiffin, died at 4 am Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at St. Francis Home.
She was born July 18, 1926, in Upper Sandusky, to Vincent and Constance (Orians) Arnold. She married Robert Frisch September 17, 1949, in Carey and he died September 6, 1974.
Survivors include a son, James (Alicia) Frisch of Tiffin; three daughters, Patricia Kesler of Tiffin, Cynthia (Floyd) Diaz of Bascom, and Jean (John) Cook of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren, 15great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Arnold of Carey, and Carl Arnold of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Andre Frisch, a brother, David Arnold, a sister, Jean Doran, and three grandsons, Jesse Diaz, Ethan Hendrick, and David Lee Sines, Jr.
Mrs. Frisch delivered for the Advertiser-Tribune for many years, and later was a bus driver for the Seneca County Opportunity Center for 18 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister, and its Rosary Altar Society. She taught guitar and accordion at Vi’s School of Music.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to the Mass.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Seneca County Opportunity Center or Promedica Hospice.
